So, after creating this blog some time ago lost in the ether of yesterday, I figured that I should actually start writing in it. Or something like that.
Let's start out with some objectives and see where that takes us, shall we?
For quite some time now, I have wanted to write a blog based upon the industrial music that I enjoy ever so much, most of which contains thumping beats and that quality that I can only define as "sinister whispering". I know and maybe you know as well, that the producers of said music (see Grendel and Suicide Commando for starters) are not likely quietly singing or delicately shouting their lyrics into a microphone- they are in all likelihood shouting them at their full vocal allowance and a magical vocal effect is transforming it into that special "sinister whisper" sound. Of course, there is plenty of industrial music that contains no whispering at all and that will be contained here as well.
If you do not like that explanation of the naming of this blog, then you might care to take the position in believing that it was a randomly generated name. You're free to think for yourself.
That is not to say that will be the only thing I would like to discuss. I like synthop, too.
Basically, this blog will be reviews about music that I buy, concerts I may see and general "scene" issues.
The first review shold be up within a matter of days. I just need a few more listens to generate a balanced opinion.
